IT MY STORYYYYY (not actually me)
This story starts with two teenagers, who met when Leo moved in during 2nd grade and immediately tripped over Nory during nap time. And that's exactly how they became best friends, attending school together, copying each other's homework and defending each other whenever someone attempted to cause turmoil and separate them. But that was impossible; they even lived next to each other. Constant sleepovers, deep conversations that go deep into the night and early mornings. If no one knew better, they would assume they are either dating or siblings. Nory and Leo had only each other to count on. Their bond was woven tightly together, and fights between them were rare; even when they fought, they always made up. But this fight was different. They didn't talk for a whole week after that. Even if they wanted to, pride held them back from contacting each other. Not talking or seeing each other for a whole week was taking a toll on Nory and Leo; even if they don't want to admit it, they missed each other. Spring break came to an end, and they will inevitably see each other again and face the hurtful words exchanged with each other. They have 2nd, 4th, and 5th period together, but Leo absolutely was not ready to face Nory in class, so he skipped and went to the woods behind the school. Nory noticed Leo's absence and a pang of worry hit his chest. He made up his mind and slipped out of class before the teacher called attendance, and he made his way out to the woods to see if Leo would be there. And he found Leo messing with a tree and swallowed any pride that was gonna hold him back from talking to his best friend. “Leo..?” Nory mumbled slightly when he saw the small sliver of Leo’s sweater. He crept closer to try to touch his shoulder, but Leo stepped forward, avoiding his touch. “Leo, please, I'm sorry,” he said, voice slowly growing and trying to communicate with him. “Please talk to me, we can figure this out,” he pleads. “Will you quit it now? " Leo’s sharp voice shoots out. He walks further into the woods, but Nory follows, even if he is slightly wounded by Leo's harsh tone. “Will you listen to me!” Nory raised his voice, reaching for Leo's sleeve and yanking him closer “What do you want, Nory? You clearly don't care enough to stay for college.” Leo’s voice sounded less stable. Emotions bubbling up “I never said I was gonna leave!” Nory's voice broke completely. Audible cracks in his voice and shaky breaths. “It sure sounded like that,” Leo mumbled, looking away. “I want you to come with me!Get away from this town, just us.” Nory's voice rose; he stepped closer and forced Leo to spin around and face him. “I will work my Apple off for you. I need you to come with me, I don't know if I can function without you. Please… come with me. I know you don’t want to leave this town, but just imagine, we can go to the same college, share a dorm and eat overpriced campus cafeteria food.” “I want this for us, away from our parents. I wanna be with you!” his grip on Leo's shoulders tightened, and Leo shook himself out of Nory's hands and stepped back. “You don’t get it! We’ve got everything here! Our parents, people we know, and I know where everything is. How could you even suggest leaving? Does none of this matter? Staying where we know what we have, where we can go.” His voice grew into a shout, his arms waving with his words. His expression showed hurt, not understanding why Nory would want to leave what they have built in the town they grew up in since they were kids His foot caught on a root in the ground, and he stumbled backwards, and he tried catching his arm, but it was too late. Thunk. The sound echoed between them, and time seemed to stop. Nory stood frozen for a moment, just staring. Leo laid still. Silence stretched. “Leo..” Nory whispered. The rock beneath leos head starting to darken with blood.` Nory immediately knelt to his side and scooped Leo into his arms, panic running through his veins as he stumbled to grab his phone out of his pocket and dial 911. “911, what's your emergency?” “My friend hit his head, he’s bleeding!” he stumbles over his own words, Leo’s blood soaking into his pants, and soft drips onto the forest floor below them. The red from Leo’s blood stood out against the green leaves and brown soil. “Okay, where are you? Do you have an address?” The operator on the other end of the voice was professional. “Behind Rockway High School, in the forest,” Nory’s voice cracked as he spoke through his tears. “Okay, is your friend conscious and or breathing?” the operator asked. Currently Leo was knocked out cold, his body limp and heavy in Nory's lap, but he's still breathing. “He's knocked out, but he's breathing”, Nory immediately responded. “That's good, you said he was bleeding? Is he still bleeding?” Nory checked Leo's head, or at least tried to, but there was indeed still dripping on the ground and still soaking into Nory's pants. “Yeah, he's bleeding… It's a lot, what do I do?” “Do you have a jacket or a shirt?” Nory did have a jacket. He immediately ripped it off his waist” “Yeah, I have a jacket.. What do I do with it?” he stuttered. “Okay, so what you're going to do is gently support his head and wrap the jacket around his wound, make sure to apply enough pressure to stop the bleeding” Nory did exactly that, he gently shifted Leo in his lap and wrapped the jacket around his head, he didn't care if the fabric got stained with blood. He tied a tight knot in the jacket, and the bleeding stopped. In the distance, the sound of sirens can be heard; an ambulance and police are coming, and Leo is going to get help. Everything was a blur, the ambulance lights flashing in red pulses, medics loading Leo onto a stretcher and loading him into the ambulance. Nory was allowed to join the ambulance because he couldn't forgive himself, and had to make sure he was okay. They made it to the hospital and immediately treated Leo. Nory stayed in the waiting room, his foot tapping on the tiled floor as Leo’s parents came rushing in and immediately started yelling at Nory. “This is all your fault!” Leo’s mum spat out at Nory while pointing an accusatory finger at the boy. Leo’s father, on the other hand, understood it wasn't his fault and that it was purely an accident. He knew the bond between Leo and Nory, and there would be no possible chance that Nory would hurt Leo, physically. He gently placed a hand on his wife’s shoulder, and they sat down beside him. Leo’s mum was silently crying, but her eyes kept drifting to Nory, an unwelcome cold look, as if she had already decided he was to blame for Leo’s injury. After hours of nervous waiting, a nurse finally arrived and called for them. Leo got a concussion and was currently in a coma. Everything around Nory was fading out, Leo’s parents breaking into sobs, but he was stuck, everything shutting down as guilt, shame, and anger settled in. He fully blamed him; he was convinced that Leo getting hurt was entirely his fault. Even if it wasn't, guilt was settling onto his shoulders and eating him alive in that moment. Tears started falling down his cheeks, rolling down his chin and onto his shirt, soaking in. He took a shaky deep breath to attempt to calm down, but it was too late, and he broke down into sobs, collapsing onto his knees as his body shook gently. His hands moved to cover his face. Tears wet his palm, and reality continued to crash against him. His best friend was in a coma. Leo’s dad gently knelt and rubbed his shoulders, telling him it wasn't his fault. “Hey…hey… we know it's not your fault, I know you wouldn't do this.” He gently whispered. Nory didn’t process the words. Leo’s dad gently coaxed him to stand back up and sit outside the room he was currently in. The three of them sat there, Leo’s parents and Nory. The hospital chairs are cold against his back. He stared forward, but he wasn't looking at anything; the earlier tears had dried on the skin of his face, and his nails were digging crevices into the palms of his hand. A doctor left Leo's room, clip board in hand. He brought his attention to Leo’s parents and cleared his throat before speaking. “Your son is stable. Thankfully, the impact wasn't as serious as I anticipated, and he should heal up perfectly fine. But for now, he is still in a coma; there's no telling when he will wake up. He did have a mild blast injury to the back of his head, so when he does wake up, he will most likely be disoriented and confused. And there will be possible memory loss. I’m sorry” The air around Nory stilled, His brain processing the words before his consciousness could. Coma. Memory loss. All because of him. He couldn’t stand the pressure. Tears fell onto his knees again as he fell into himself, grief swallowing him whole. Leo’s dad called Nory's mum and she came and picked him up. The Police can’t investigate Nory till Leo wakes up. -time skip a month- Nory's mum forced him to pack his things and move to the neighboring town. Even against his complaints and protests, he had no choice. The new apartment was white and sterile, No decorations, no life whatsoever. No traces of anyone. Over in the town Leo woke up. Things moved fast from there. The police asked Leo what happened. And he admitted the whole incident was not Nory's fault. Nory on the other side never found out that Leo woke up. Never found out if he is still okay. Till that one Saturday. Nory was working at his brainnumbing job, a cheshire. His boss rushed out from his office and called north out of his checkout stand and pulled him to the side, his face showing good news “I got a call from rockside, one of your family members asking for you” He whispered as if it was a secret he wasn't supposed to be telling. But nory immediately straightened up. The only people he was concerned about were Leo and his parents, who could be calling him? Right now?. Nory's boss brought him to his office and handed him the phone and nory brought it up to his ear. He took a deep breath and spoke in a hesitant voice. “Hello?” “HELLLLOOO IT’S LEO B*TCH, WHERE ARE YOU.” Nory nearly jumped out of his skin at the loud voice on the other line and then it hit him in the chest. Leo was awake, and practically demanding for him. He was a mess of emotions, Joy, Nervousness and hope of seeing him again. Nory brought the phone back to his ear, because Leo's earlier explosion made him recoil away from the phone and the loud volume from it. “Leo!? You're awake! Are you okay?” “Yes im okay, but seriously dude, where the hell are you” Leo’s tone carried the casual tone of discussing the weather but hidden under it was a bit of concern, because his best friend was not there, not when he needed him most. “I-....uhm ... .mum..forced me to move ... .to the town over..” nory mumbled, ashamed that he wasn't there even when he so desperately wanted to be. “Uuuuh, dumb Apple excuse I KNOW you can drive, come here. Now now now now now” “O-Okay! Jeez…missed you..” “Missed you two idiot…even if i just took a long nap…heh” Leo hung up the phone and just stood there for a sec. Before tears started running down his face, happy tears. his boss came in and panicked slightly at the sight of his young employee crying in his office. “Hey.. kid you alright?” Nory wiped his face and smiled. “Yeah.. Can I have a week off..?” His boss started for a moment before nodding. “Go get’em?” Nory clocked out and immediately ran to his car and drove home, going over the speed limit. He packed his bags and got into his car and started driving to the rockside. The second he got there, he just parked in front of Leo’s parents house and jumped out of his car and ran to the door, didn't even bother knocking and burst in. “LEO” He shouted, running around the house and looking through all the rooms and he heard Leo's voice. “NORY YOU B*TCH "Leo shouted from the top of the stairs. It was on sight, the second they saw each other, they bolted, Leo ran down the stairs and Nory ran up. They met in the middle and hugged each other like their life depended on it. Leo started sobbing and babbling. “Where were you nory… i woke up and you weren't here and i was scared…please dont leave me again” His words carried a pouty tone but his hands dug into nory’s back and nory joined in the sobs. Both of them turned into an emotional mess. “I'm sorry… I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry… I will never leave you again… I love you Leo..” He mumbled against Leo's shoulder. Tears soaking into his shirt. He finally confessed. Real true love in its fullest rawest form.

All I read is him apologizing so idk if it's supposed to be sad or sum 😭 but the time and effort to make a story this long is insane. Cuz I'd not spend even 5 mins creating a story.
