The Pain Of Waiting "The short story would be that we fell in love, you left and I continued to wait for you. Long story would be that we met when we were younger and you made me smile until my cheeks hurt and my face was red as a tomato and then we had fell in love, deep love and I was the happiest I could be with you and never knew that one day you'd leave me behind and never return to me again. I should have seen that coming but when you walked up to me with a new girl in your arms I broke and cried- I cried for weeks until I couldn't cry anymore but you didn't care but I had cared so i had continued to wait for you. Boy was I a fool to wait. You had invited me to your wedding to tell me to move on , that you'd never think of me ever again. I broke again but not because I was sad or because I was angry that he'd do that to me, I broke because I knew it was true that he'd never think of me ever again and I was a fool to think he'd someday, somehow want to marry me instead. I grew old never to marry or think of someone else. You were all I ever wanted "till death do us part" I whispered as I took my last breathe. My grave stone left off my last name for the feeling of never being married to another soul other than you" by me
