`What is the probability that a child does household chores given that the child gets an allowance' is the full question. Since 41% of the total gets an allowance and does chores, and 55% of the total gets an allowance, period, 41 / 55 would give us the percentage of those that get an allowance who also do household chores, which is 74.5%. I believe that is the same as the probability that a child does household chores given that they get an allowance.
thanks
