how to determine whether a vector valued function is smooth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a vector valued function is smooth provided each of the component functions are smooth that is if the function f:R^n.........>R^m then the usual notation is F=(f_1,f_2,.......,f_m) this is smooth if each f_i is smooth. (in the sense these are continuously differentiable) ok.
