If a line dance requires 2 steps forwards and 1 steps back, and a wall is 10 steps away, how many steps does the dancer need to take to reach the wall? (I want to know how to develop a formula for it).

i dont think you can for this won

Ask yourself "How much is each step" really worth? To advance one Step requires three total steps (two forward, one back). To advance two Steps requires six total steps (two forward, one back ... two forward one back).... To advance N steps requires... ____ total steps? Hope this helps!

So it would be 3*9 = 27, but once you take the 26th step, you'd only go 1 step back so it's only 26. Is that correct?
