Do you need to solve for 'w' or just simplify?
oh sorry I just need to simplify
Okay. You need to find the LCM, just as with normal fractions. The LCM in this case is (w+9)(w-9). So multiply each of the three terms by this LCM; expand the polynomials; group and sum the like terms in the numerator. You should get this: (15w-135)/((w+9)(w-9)) Factor out the '15' in the numerator. Further simplification gives the following as your final answer: 15/(w+9)
thank you:)
