Can I simplify this algebraic fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3a ^{3} - 9a ^{2} + 32a - 10 \over a ^{2} + 3a - 10\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think so I got this when I've tried: \[= [3a^2(a-3) + 2(16a-5)]/(a^2 + 3a -10)\] can't be simplified any further, I guess ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the bottom can be factored into (a-2)(a+5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, but that's it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could do partial fraction expansion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all you have to do is simplify and not integrate lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

long division -> partial fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh right lol , my bad ^^"
