What’s your post recovery plan for the gym? I’m in sports and I can’t be taking weeks off the gym just because I have an event coming up i don’t want to be sore for. Our gym just opened back up and I hit chest and I’m day 5 and I still feel muscle strain. I know creatine is useful for muscle repair but I was wondering if anyone had specific ways they do it

Heyy so what i would do is get 7-9 hours of sleep, have high protein shakes or foods, consistent hydration not like the flavored packet hydration i mean water, drink LOTS of water, and 1-2 days of rest per week and i would also stretch a lot i think it helps calm you down like maybe 20 to 30 second stretches. Hope this helps<3

I rarely go to the gym, but my dad goes a lot, and i'll just say what I've seen him do: keeping a balanced diet is definitely one of the qualities. Taking pills that are necessary to keep your vitamins and your body healthy. Drink lots of water (my dad never did tho) and definitely eat something before drinking protein shakes, well it also depends on the kind u make.

Okay thank you, I focus a lot on the hydration and protein portion but I do lack a bit on sleep.
