OpenStudy (anonymous):
Systems of equations can be solved by graphing or by using substitution or elimination. What are the pros and cons of each method? Which method do you like best? Why? What circumstances would cause you to use a different method?

Elimination is a good method if the equations are all linear and the coefficients are integers, otherwise substitution might be better.. I f one equation is linear and the other quadratic then you have to use the substitution method. the graphical method is ok but will not always give as accurate a result as the other two.
