What quadrilaterals sides that are parallel to its opposite side and diagonals that are not perpendicular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

parallelogram has opposite sides parallel but diagonals are not perpendicular to each other..

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

rectangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rectangle is a parallelogram with angles 90 degree.......

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

yea sided are perpendicular but not the diagonals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A parallelogram.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Asad who wants sides perpendicular???? question says sides are parallel and diagonals are not perpendicular a parallelogram satisfies these conditions and rectanlge is a special case of parallelogram....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

lol .... yeah. a rhombus would classify then right?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

rectangle works as well; if that rectangle is not defined as a square

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

no rombus has diagonals pependicular bro

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hmm..... bummer, they need to come up with some new names for stuff ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rhombus is again a special case of parallelogram with all sides of equal length such questions want an answer which is not a "special case" you are quoting special cases of parallelograms.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as amistre pointed out, even a rectangle with equal sides will become a square and have diagonals perpendicular....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it a parallelogram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes DEFINITELY !!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a rectangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u have to name All the four sided figures which have parallel sides and diagonals which are not perpendicular u cud do that but as i pointed out, rectangle is a special case of a parallelogram....
