OpenStudy (dboyette):

how do I know if a variable is an attribute or numerical?

OpenStudy (radar):

What are the differences between an attribute or numerical?

OpenStudy (radar):

I'm asking because I don't know.

OpenStudy (dboyette):

the variables are physical exercise and consumption of fruits and vegetables. My instructor says they are attributes but I don't know what makes them that.

OpenStudy (radar):

I thought the variable represented numbers real or complex, maybe in a specific problem they could represent consumption of a quantity of fruit. In that case, the contexts of the problem should provide the needed information

OpenStudy (radar):

Sorry but I do not know the answer to your question.
