f a magnet repels a metal object what can you say about the pole of the magnet and the pole of the object? A. The poles are opposite. B. The poles change. C. The poles are not charged. D. The poles are the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

poles are same you should have known this from that other question about opposites attracting bc... geez :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont worry about reasearching it doly, i'm certain :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*sigh* Yea i am just trying to get this stinking answers done >:(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As the magnetic field increases, which of the following also increases? A. domain B. force C. pole D. area pwease?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why isn't flux in that answer...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should spend some time researching magnets.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would think the core increases

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, you should go read about magnets on wikipedia, and find out how the earth has a really big one in the centre etc, but its probably force. or area, and my reason to just say force is because you're already asking about the magnetic field which /is/ the area... so its like saying the same thing twice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried finding an answer but couldn't

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mag·net·ic field Noun: A region around a magnetic material or a moving electric charge within which the force of magnetism acts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mag·net·ic do·main A magnetic domain describes a region within a magnetic material which has uniform magnetization.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mag·net·ic force magnetism: attraction for iron; associated with electric currents as well as magnets; characterized by fields of force.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhhhh i see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so according to google, its area because according to google magnetic area = magnetic flux. but you should dispute that seeing as a field of something is also an area... go ask your teacher about htis question cause its too ambiguous

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can pretty much count out domain and pole but I would have to agree with Paul and go more so with area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also, seeing as i dont have to follow through with this, i would punch whoever made that question... just hard enough so they know why i punched them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would be better if core was one of the answers I think :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was a terrible movie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol
