6. The velocity, v m/s of a particle, travelling in a straight line, at time t s after leaving a fixed point O, is given by v = 3 + 2t - t 2, where t ≥0. Estimate the distance of the particle from O when the velocity of the particle becomes zero.

are you doing quadratic equations or calculus?

quadratic (:

then this question is incorrect. are you sure you typed it correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm but i copied and paste from my worksheet.

you can estimate the time when the velocity is 0, not the distance, unless you have the formula for distance.
