i need help with this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

let me try..

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

is that supposed to be a right triangle or not? that info would help a lot..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesnt say wat kind of angle just the question

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

arghhh...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i figured it out now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could u help with this other question tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

which one?

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

never mind , isee it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to solve for a b and c

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

180 - 51 - 65 = angle A A = 64

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

to solve for a b and c, use the law of sines: a/SinA = b/SinB = c/Sinc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the part that gets me

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

a / Sin 64 = b / Sin 65 7 / Sin 64 = b / Sin 65 7/0.89 = b / 0.9 ( i'm rounding)

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

b = 0.9 * 7 / 0.89 = 7.07

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Do the same thing to find c: a / Sin 64 = c / Sin 51 7 / Sin 64 = c / Sin 51 c = 7 * Sin 51 / Sin 64, whatever sin 51 and sin 64 are..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey is b 7.07 it said it was wrong on my assignment

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

try b = 7.1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok it worked but still not understanding so would i mulitply or divide

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

what do you mean? a / SinA = b / SinB = c / SinC means that all of these are true a / SinA = b / SinB a / SinA = c / SinC b / SinB = c / SinC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat answer should i be gettin igot 6

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

and cross multiply to find whatever you want..

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

for what? for c ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i messed up

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

The answer is 5.9, which is 6, but try 5.9 maybe they want decimals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both wrong

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

do they have requirements? like to the 2nd decimal or first decimal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here u go

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

oh okay i see..solvin.. my friend borrowed my ti89 so will have to use the crappy pc calculator.. ughh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey web2.0calc.org

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a onlince scientific calculator

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

6.1 actually is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u were right bro u flutterin awesome

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

if i didn't round that early you would get 6.05, which is 6.1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think thats it for now how often r u on

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

barely.. i used to be on all the time, they had to release a patch lol it used to be fans only, then when i went over 100 fans, they made medals and stuff.. i haven't logged in the whole semester though, cuz i was busy with school.. if u have questions, email me.. bahrom.cfo@gmail.com
