i need to solve for a b and c
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
180 - 51 - 65 = angle A
A = 64
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
to solve for a b and c, use the law of sines:
a/SinA = b/SinB = c/Sinc
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how do i do that
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thats the part that gets me

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
a / Sin 64 = b / Sin 65
7 / Sin 64 = b / Sin 65
7/0.89 = b / 0.9 ( i'm rounding)
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
b = 0.9 * 7 / 0.89 = 7.07
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
Do the same thing to find c:
a / Sin 64 = c / Sin 51
7 / Sin 64 = c / Sin 51
c = 7 * Sin 51 / Sin 64, whatever sin 51 and sin 64 are..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
hey is b 7.07 it said it was wrong on my assignment
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
try b = 7.1

ok it worked but still not understanding so would i mulitply or divide
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
what do you mean?
a / SinA = b / SinB = c / SinC means that all of these are true
a / SinA = b / SinB
a / SinA = c / SinC
b / SinB = c / SinC
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wat answer should i be gettin igot 6
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
and cross multiply to find whatever you want..
OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
for what? for c ?

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):
