electromagnetic waves can be used as an alternative energy source??
sure......Light (solar energy) is an electro-magnetic wave.......... it is used to generate Solar power, which is now used as a source of energy.
radiant heat energy.. travels with the speed of light is also an electromagnetic wave.
but, I think solar energy is too expensive. because the equipment that used is too big. so must be focus in one place. . . how about your opinion?
The micro-wave oven is an excellent example of the use of electromagnetic waves, However it wouldn't be considered the source, that would go back from where the microwave is plugged into to the "source" be it hydro-electric or nuclear.
ok, thanks :) I hope we can find the other effective source energy :)
I also, at one time NASA was looking at the possibility of transmitting power via microwaves from space (I assume using the sun as a source for energy)
I have also thinking about sun as a source energy. But I can't find the same journal or some research to support this mind. can u give some opinion, what the best alternative energy source for the next generation? I worried in the next year there is no longer a source of enrgy like now.
I saw a Nat-Geo documentary of about what Mr radar is mentioning about. I think it is under development, and they are successful to some degree of their effort. don't remember much about it as I saw it >=1year. There are lot of renewable sources available, like wind, tidal energy, solar energy, hydro-electric power, etc. .... but the need for energy is very much increasing, as the population rate is fast increasing and there is more mechanization. So definitely there will be shortage of energy and there will be race between the countries for more and safe sources of energy.
