= AF-AB = (1/2)EF-AB = 10-3 = 7

its a finance section u sud ask ur doubt in Maths..btw the ans is 7.

EF is diameter of bigger circle and AB is radius of small circle. AF is radius of large circle which is EF/2, hence 10. So DF = AF-AD (AD= AB). DF = 10 - 3 = 7.
But i also agree that this is not the best section for the problem :)
