"photos of the train" translates simply to "photos du train". "Photos from the train" translates to "photos depuis le train".

"Where did you find the photos ?"
"I brought these photos from the train".
Où est-ce que tu as trouvé ces photos ?
J'ai rapporté ces photos du train.

But in the almost case, acposton is right.

It's not really a mistake, but that would hurt french eyes.
