By first applying the quotient rule, choose the option that gives (correct to two decimal places) the overall value of the function f (x) = (15x^2) / (7 + x^3) on the interval [1, 7]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i assume we want to integrate then on the interval?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

or are we summing up the values of a discrete variable?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and what is a quotient rule? I know of a similar named rule in derivatives but have no idea how to apply it to integration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you may call integration by parts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To be honest I am not sure if I need to integrate the function or diffeentiate the function. Hence putting up for consideration.
