Question

Can someone remind me how to draw y=(2-|x|)(3+|x|). Thanks, badly out of practice dealing with modulus.

\begin{align*}y=& (2-|x|)(3+|x|)\\=&6 - |x| - x^2\end{align*}

It'll mostly look like a parabola opening downward. It just has a point at the vertex instead of the normal curve.
