g(2)=6 and limit as x approaches 2 of [3f(x) + f(x)g(x)] = 36. Find f(2).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If we're finding f(2) then our x is 2 so we can substitute g(x) (which is now g(2)) with a 6 so we get 3f(2) + 6f(2) = 36. We combine like terms to get 9f(2) = 36. Divide both sides by 9 to get f(2) by itself and you get f(2) = 4.

ok thats perfect, thank you soo much!
