linear systems with three variables 2x+5y=-8 3x-4y+z=16 x+3y+2z=5 solve for x, y and z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you use elimination on equations 2, and 3 to eliminate the z component; you will obtain an equation in x, and y. You will then have 2 equations in x, and y: you can perform elimination on either of those variables to solve for them as normal. Once you have the values of x, and y; you can substitute them into one of the equations with x, y, and z to solve for z.
