f(x) = Ax^2-1 x<-2

so in order for the function to be continuous
\[\lim_{x \rightarrow -2} Ax^2-1=5\]
\[\lim_{x \rightarrow -2} Bx-2=5\]
Thus A=1.5
and B=-3.5
