\[8^{-1} + 2^{-3}\] How would we do this and please DO NOT do it in decimal form. Do in exponential form.

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

\(8^{-1}=\dfrac{1}{8}\) and \(2^{-3}=\dfrac{1}{2^3}=\dfrac{1}{2\cdot 2\cdot 2}\)
