How would I start on editing the software of a program? (ie: game, software)

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

What do you mean? How to develop a software or a game?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it possible to edit already made programs. Just on your own separate computer.

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

Yep...there are thousands or millions of basic programs out there. It is just code. The main thing is to download a place where you will work with the code.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And how would I go about doing that? I'm kinda new to this, I'm 14.

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

You may: 1. Start learning basic things of a language. 2. Search for a compiler that accepts several languages 3. Search for the code: google them, download swf´s of games, search at opensource websites, etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've taken a few courses on some language. Would you know of any programs that you would recommend?

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

What language? And programs are not really hard. Actually, making the compilator to add 2 numbers is already a program

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pretty sure C++. Okay so the main thing i want to know is how to get to the coding of a certain program.

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

Oh...You need to ask it, or go to programming forums. There are lots of programs there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u mean ask it?

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

Ask programmers to make a really basic program for you...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh. okay so there isnt a way to just access it?

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

No legally

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

Most programs run in a computer, not in the web

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know, but you cant even on your computer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have a search around for a disassembler, that will start you down the right path.
