PLEASE HELP!! Manual plans to install a fence around the perimeter of his yard. His yard is shaped like a square and has an area of 40,000 square feet. The company he hired charges 2.50$ per foot for the fencing and 50.00$ installation fee. What will be the cost of the fence in dollars

Sahsanud is wrong. Side of square = \[\sqrt{40,000} = 200\] There fore 200 * 4 is the perimeter of the yard or 800 feet. To find total cost of fencing use formula: \[f *p+50\] Where f is number of feet, p is price of fencing per foot, and 50 is the constant value that you must pay. Therefore, \[800*2.50+50 = $2050\]
