What is the molar volume of carbon dioxide gas at a pressure of 0.974 atm and a temperature of 43 degree Celsius?

OpenStudy (espex):

Assuming behavior as an ideal gas you can find it with this equation: \[PV=nRT \rightarrow V=\frac{nRT}{P}\]\[V=\frac{1 mol \times 8.3145 \times 316.15K}{0.974atm} \rightarrow V=2698.80L\]

OpenStudy (espex):

Might not be liters, that looks weird.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ESpex is correct, the R value up there should be 0.0821 L atm/(molK), not 8.31 J/(mol K) to get a dimensionally consistent answer V = 26.65 L
