Magnetic flux is a type of measurement where the description of certain materials relate to their magnetic fields. It describes the strength as well as the extent of an object's interaction within the field. Magnetic flux is the area in which magnetic lines of force exists. Flux means the amount of something flowing through a surface. Magnetic flux, \[\phi_m,\] is the amount of magnetic field flowing through a surface.
