A horizontal force of 157 N is used to push a 32.0 kg packing crate a distance of 6.00 m on a rough horizontal surface. The acceleration of gravity is 9.81 m/s2 . If the crate moves with constant velocity, calculate a) the work done by the force. Answer in units of J

Have a look at the question before yours: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4f16f04de4b0aeb795f5366c Figure out what is the direction of motion and the only force in that direction. Then work will be the product of those two. (Hint: is there any movement in the direction of the gravitational force?)
Work done=Force.distance traveled in the direction of force, so 157N.6m=942Nm. right?
