Can I write Al2(SO4)3 as aluminium (III) sulfate?

OpenStudy (jfraser):

You CAN, but there's no need to. Roman numerals are only used when the transition metal has a choice of charges. Aluminum only makes 1 kind of ion, +3. No choice, no Roman Numerals.

also it can be proved by oxidation state as..........|dw:1327080619678:dw|
