Evaluate the limit. As h approaches infinity, lim sqrt h^2+h....

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\lim_{h \rightarrow \infty}\sqrt{h ^{2}+h}\]

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

yes, infinity is the answer :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you show me what the graph of this limit would look like?

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

|dw:1328487359566:dw|

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

I'm not talented for drawing but I think you see that when the h>0 lim is infinity, and when h <0 lim is minus infinity :D

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

you must solve as two separate cases like that :D
