What is meant by “high-level programming languages”?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-level_programming_language In a nutshell, a high-level language is at least one (often a few more) degrees of abstraction from low level assembly languages. Instead of 0s and 1s and such that are specific to hardware, high-level languages use a syntax that is more human-readable and is portable between different hardware at the expense of some amount of speed.

can u help with my other Q?
Sure---shoot.
A glitch in a computer system is also called a __________?
...a bug?
lol thats what i was thinking
but that seems to simple
Who is asking you that question?
its a Q on my mid-term
im just guna go with bug
but im confused cause wikipedia said "A computer glitch is the failure of a system, usually containing a computing device, to complete its functions or to perform them properly. In public declarations, glitch is used to suggest a minor fault which will soon be rectified and is therefore a euphemism by comparison to bug, which is a factual statement that a programming fault is to blame for a system failure".
WTF dose that mean?!!
Really depends on what your instructor talked about during lectures. It's a pretty ambiguous question, in my opinion.
Its an online college & i have no idea what ambiguous means.
Is this via the MIT-6.00 course, or elsewhere? That question wasn't asked on the MIT assignment.
elsewhere
screw it im just putting bug
crash, bug, indefinite loop? all could apply
