help please, y = tan^-1 (√(1-x)/(1+x))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get dy/dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the derivative of tan^-1(x) is 1/(1+x^2). Knowing that, you just need to use the chain rule and use the quotient rule to find the inside derivative.

also your square root can be rewritten as (1-x)^-1 , which will make it much easier to differentiate.
