for f(x)^2 compute and simplify the difference quotient f(x+h)-f(x)/h. I ended up with f(x)=0. is this correct?

did you mean f(x)=x^2 ? cos i don't see how you can start working that out if you haven't defined f(x) in the first place :/

you have to substitute (x+h) for x in f(x+h), you're not going to end up with 0

ok so you'll do what Dockworker said and you'll end up with this. \[\huge \frac{5(x+h)^2-5x^2}{h} \]\[\huge \text{simplify that and I believe that'd be it :) } \]
