Factor: y^2-7y-30

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

y^2-7y-30 y^2-10y+3y-30 (y^2-10y)+(3y-30) y(y-10)+(3y-30) y(y-10)+3(y-10) (y+3)(y-10) So y^2-7y-30 completely factors to (y+3)(y-10)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Note: I broke -7y into -10y+3y because -10 and 3 add to -7 and multiply to -30
