Need help..... I have to solve these by graphing. x + y = 1 2x + y = 0 I get the points (-1,2) but I don't understand how the book gets 2 lines on the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-x+1 y=-2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get y=-x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract x on each side...or take it to the other side of the equal sign and change its sign.
