i've tried both + and - infinity, and I know there's an asymptote around 1, but I can't figure it out...

when I see this , first thing I instinctively do is factor 3(x-1)(2x+1)

numerator (2x+1)(3x-1) ---------------- 3(2x+1)(x-1) now cancel out (3x-1) ----------- 3(x-1) now evaluate

how do you evaluate it? by subbing in -1/2? (3*-0.5)-1 / (3(-1.5) =-2.5 / -4.5
