An arrow is shot upward with an initial velocity of 64 ft/sec and is modeled by the formula below. Draw the graph on your calculator. (a) Name the axis of symmetry. (b) How long after the arrow is released does it reach its maximum height? (c) When will the arrow hit the ground? h=-16t^2+64t

The line of symmetry is where x=2. You should be able to read your calculator graph to find the time at maximum height. When the arrow hits the ground the height will be zero. So you should be able to read your graph and see where the parabola crosses the x axis, which is zero height.
