no first thing its not a mathematical relationsship anyway just one thing wat is meant by free here rest i can xplain

ok lets start look here P + L-------------->PL this is the reaction now dissociation constant is the ratio of concentration of product by concentration of reaction ok KD=[PL]/[P] + [L] here bracket show concentration and one more thing whenever u are given coefficent in reaction u have to take it as power while calculating KD see this xample 2[P] + 3[L]----------> 3[PL] kD= [PL]^3/[P]^2 + [L]^3 ( u see becomes coefficent of subtance used in reaction beomes power while calculating Kd ok ) hope it works any doubt?
