I'm a bit confused about a question: Write the formula of the conjugate base for acid HF. The answer is F- but then it asks me: Write the name of the conjugate base found in part A. (which is the question I just did.) Is there something that I am missing? I used Fluoride but that was considered wrong.

Bah, I got it.

Though I am a bit confused on writing the conjugate base for \[PH4^+\]

ok when you change an acid to a base you remove ONE hydrogen and REDUCE the charge by one, of example \[NH _{4}^{+}\] when changed in to a base will be \[NH _{3}\]
