Math/Chemistry question How would you set up and solve the following problem? If it took 30.0 mL of 0.50 M NaOH to neutralize 15.0 mL of HNO3, what is the concentration (molarity) of the HNO3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.0029 M of the acid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NaOH + HNO3 -> H2O +NaNO3 30 ml *0.5 M= 15 ml * x M solve for x: x * M= 30 ml *0.5 M/(15 ml ) x M=1 M
