Which is stronger: sodium acetate or sodium sulfate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In what way? All I know is that the sulfate ion from sodium sulfate will be pH neutral(7) because it's the conjugate base of a strong acid. The acetate ion will have a basic pH due to the conjugate base being a weak base of a weak acid which will affect pH somewhere around 8. You could say that acetate ion from sodium acetate has a stronger attraction for the hydrogen ion when it's in solution.
