Surface Tension , help please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kaminey tera khuch nhi hoga ........aye koi queston hai

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haa tel me ki Surface molecules of Liquids experince constant Inwards and sideways force...OK?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore they have higher energy than the molecules inside the soln ...ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Due to this reason they minimum no of molecules at the surface "I cant get this line in my notes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

abe sun chup ho jaaaa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haan bolo samjhaao

OpenStudy (anonymous):

surface tension is a property of the surface of the liquid that allow to resist an external force.exmple du kya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are hamko iska defnition nhi chhiye .....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to kya chhiye bta ..........kisse relates kru

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to understand process... dekh.. the energy of moleules have heigher energy than of inside molecules --> bcz inside molecules experiences forces from each side so many of them cancell out...but surface molecules have heigher energy bcz they dnt experience any froce from molecules above them TELL ME IM RIGHT OR WRONG

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if energy is more then obviously there will be less molecules on the surface KEEP CORRECTING ME

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

srini bhai mery baat suno

OpenStudy (anonymous):

srini listen me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now since there are less molecules so surface area will be less ....NOW TO increase the surface area the molecules must come to surface , this can be done by supply ENERGY hence WORKing on the molecules . This is Called SURFACE ENERGY

OpenStudy (anonymous):

abe mery baat to sun le

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually I wanted to know bout SURFACE ENERGY not TENSION ...thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just listen me now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and surface tension is the Force acting acting perpendicularly to molecules which are on the surface trying to overcome the horizontal forces on the molecule M I RIGHT??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes tell me guru

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya u r right phele aye bta mujhe ki tujhe LAPLACE'S LAW PTA HAI KYA HAI

OpenStudy (anonymous):

JUST LISTEN ME 1ST

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nhi thoda bahut

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k tell

OpenStudy (anonymous):
