What is the side length b in the triangle below?
12^2 + x = 20^2 So, 16. "Is it hard?""Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard."
what @brainshot3 what made u say such a thing
i didnt know if it was pythagory and thearm or co sin tan
dajafly, you always use the pythagorean theorem when you have two side lengths and are looking for the third.
The fact that you don't understand that the pythagorean theorem is a special case of the law of cosines is a problem, however.
There is no chance, no destiny, no fate that can circumvent or hinder the firm resolve of a determined soul. If you have motivation, then you could find the answer, it's not too hard.
I DNT KNOW WHAT METHOD TO USE
Brainshot, Stop doing what I want to do. Math is hard for certain people. I know geometry questions you would take a few minutes to understand.

Use trigonometry whenever you are asked for the sin, cos, tan, sine, cosine, tangent. Or, if you are given an angle, a side, and need to find another.
