an equation of a circle is given. a. determine its center. b. determine its radius c. find 2 points on the circle
so far I have a. (4,2) b. r=14 and i'm working on C
I know how to solve c, I just dont know how to get x

since the center is (4,2) and the radius is 14 you can go 14 units in any direction

for example if you go 14 units to the right, you will get (18,2)
so would you just had 14 to both.. OHHHH ok!!
if you go 14 left you will get (-10,2)

14 up will give you (4,16) etc

you could also pick some x and solve for y if you like. it will be more work and you will get radicals
but easier just to go 14 left, 14 right, 14 up and 14 down

from the picture you should see if the center is (4,2) and the radius is 14 then you are going 14 units to the right and that coordinate would be (18,2)
