no of moles=mass/molucule mass=410/44 C3H8 + 5O2 -> 3CO2 + 4H20 1 mole requirs 5 mole 410/44 x=? do the math
What mos 1635 means is multiply the number of moles of propane (410/44) by 5 (ie every propane molecule needs 5 oxygen molecules). Then multiply the answer by 32 because each oxygen molecule is 32 Daltons (on average) so each mole of oxygen is 32g.
