PLease Help!!!!! Calculate the equilibrium constant for the following reaction at 298K: Zn(s)+Cu2+(aq) <=> Zn2+(aq)+Cu(s)

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

To calculate the equilibrium constant, you will need to divide the products by the reactants of ONLY aqueous or gaseous substances. So products on top, reactants on bottom. The brackets mean "the concentration of." \[K _{c}=\left[ Zn ^{2+} \right] / \left[ Cu ^{2+} \right]\] Since your question didn't really have concentrations, I can't instruct you any further. However, all you need to do is find those two concentrations, plug it into that equation, and you have your equilibrium constant!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the concentration is 298, how will I do it?

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

You need the concentrations of both Zn2+ and Cu2+

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh i think its Zn2+=-106.48 and Cu2+=-99.6
