How do you find speed of parametrics? is it sqrt(x^2 + y^2) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The usual kind of parametric equation is x = f(t) y = f(t) ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so where is speed here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The usual idea is that t = 1 is "unit time" and then you have equations for x, y etc.
