x – 6, with the restriction x ≠ –6 x – 6, with the restriction x ≠ 6 x + 6, with the restriction x ≠ 6 x + 6, with the restriction x ≠ –6
Hint: Factor x^2 - 36 to get (x+6)(x-6)
Use the difference of squares rule to factor

@jim_thompson5910
The x-6 terms do cancel to give x+6 So the first part is x+6
but the restriction is not x ≠ –6 since x = -6 actually works (x^2 - 36)/(x-6) ((-6)^2 - 36)/(-6-6) (36 - 36)/(-12) 0 So (x^2 - 36)/(x-6) = 0 when x = -6
so B?
no, B has x-6 when it should be x+6
