What is the function?
One is \[\sqrt{x-2}\]
you can't take the square root of a negative number
so x-2 can't be negative
this means \[\Large x-2 \ge 0\] solve that for x

But how do I know how to set it up like that? I am so confused? Why Greater than or not less than or equal to?
because x-2 must be either a) zero or b) positive since x-2 can't be negative
if x - 2 were less than or equal to zero, then x-2 would be negative...which is what we don't want
