The potential at a point is 20 V. The work done in bringing a charge of 2 C from infinity to this point will be a 10 J b 40 J c 5 J d 20 J

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

potential=work/charge work=potential*charge =20*2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at infinity potential is zero volt. so change in potential* charge is the work done So (20-0)*2=40J is the answer:)
